Scott Foster and Steve Cannon have been recognized as Lifetime President’s Club Qualifiers, Lifetime Million Dollar Round Table Qualifiers, and Crystal Honor Agents. Additionally, they have a combined total of 74 MDRT qualifications, 75 Ambassador Travel qualifications, 37 Exotic Travel qualifications, 37 Chairman’s Circle qualifications, 13 President’s Club Trophies, 135 President’s Club recognitions, and 68 years as Legion of Honor Agents.  Both agents are highly successful and recognized veteran insurance agents with over 72 years of combined experience as agency owners.


Scott Foster


Top 10 State Farm Life Agent every year of his 40 plus year career || 24 years as the #1 life agent and 21 years as the #1 multiline agent.

A native of Georgia, Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance.  Along with his CLU designation, Scott is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Scott has been very involved with State Farm’s Agency Development Program and helped develop ADP II in 2009.  He has given hundreds of lectures all over the country for State Farm as well as industry organizations, including 4 times at MDRT and multiple CLU events.

Scott and his wife, Linda, have 2 daughters. Susan has a career as a mother to Scott’s two grandchildren and her husband, Jason Collins, is a successful State Farm agent.  Laura is an Agency Specialist for State Farm and his brother Marvin Foster, is a retired State Farm agent.  He is active in his church where he teaches an adult Sunday School class. Scott’s sports of choice are walking and hiking, he has completed more than 35 half marathons and over 15 marathons, including the 2008 Boston Marathon.

Steve Cannon


Top 50 State Farm Agent for 29 of the past 33 years, 2-time President’s Club trophy Qualifier, Lifetime President’s Club Qualifier (qualifying 43 times), Lifetime MDRT Qualifier – 2021 & 2022 Court Of The Table, 19-time Chairman’s Circle Qualifier, Crystal Excellence Qualifier, Finished 2021 as #11 in Life with $277,000, and finished 2022 as #15 in Life with $260,380, and Atlanta Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors Who’s Who of Atlanta – 2022 honoree.

Steve, a native of South Carolina, graduated from The Citadel with a degree in Business Administration and worked in the medical sales field for seven years before joining the State Farm family.  On September 1, 1989, Steve opened a scratch agency and qualified for Ambassador Travel in just four months. Since that time, Steve has qualified over 32 more times for travel with 18 years as an Exotic Traveler, he has consistently been ranked as a top 50 State Farm Agent for 29 of the past 33 years, he is a 2 time President’s Club Trophy Qualifier, a Lifetime President’s Club Qualifier, qualifying over 43 times (2022-3 President’s Clubs in Life, Health, & Multi-line), a Lifetime MDRT Qualifier– 2021 & 2022 Court Of The Table, a 19-time Chairman’s Circle Qualifier, Crystal Excellence Qualifier, and Atlanta Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Who’s Who of Atlanta – 2022 honoree.

Steve’s office is now located in Woodstock, GA, and Steve’s passion for providing Good Neighbor Service and ensuring his customers are adequately protected is evidenced by his many accomplishments as a State Farm Agent.  A quote Steve lives and works by is “be different on purpose” and even has this quote included in the design of his company cars. He wants people to notice the excellence and compassion his team strives for in serving and caring for agency customers.

Steve and his wife, Lori, have four children and remain active in serving their community and the sports programs of the local schools. Steve has been an active member of his Church for more than 30 years in numerous roles including serving currently on the Personnel Committee and on various other non-profit boards.  Additionally, he currently serves as an Admissions Coordinator for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
